Recently my father became ill and as they are located in the country a long way from good medical care, it was difficult to work out the best course of action.  Do we take him to the doctor, do we wait and see if he improves, do we rush to the hospital or do we find someone better informed to advise us?  Being so isolated, finding someone to advise you is not easy, everyone has got an opinion, the internet can diagnose you, but what is the best source of information?  In this case we rang Nurse on Call, a service where you ring a medical professional, they run a quick diagnosis, talk to you, get you to do a few things and then they advise the best course of action…in this case call an ambulance and get to hospital.

Imagine if there was a nurse on call for more than just your medical issues…

What about a Financial Advisor on Call or a Strategy Advisor or a Problem Solving Advisor or a Personal Advisor or any kind of advisor who is just there to help you to run a quick diagnosis on any issue, talk you through the issue, take a few tests and then provide some well thought out, unbiased advice… how cool would that be?

My next course of action is going to be to work out who my advisers could be, the people who are well informed and can help me diagnose anything that is going on in my life, find clarity in the volume of information affecting me and make some great decisions.
